Best served with simple white rice.
- 1 Onion
- 2 cans White bean (baked) Original flavour with no added sweetness.
Can use bean with tomato sauce.
- 3 tbsp Tomato paste or 1 small can
- 1/2 tsp Sugar
- 1 tbsp Paprika
- 1/2 tsp Paprika (hot) To taste
- 1/2 tsp Turmeric
- 1 tsp Black pepper
- 1/2 tsp Salt
- 1 cup Broth (Chicken) Or water
Chopped the onion and fry in a deep frying pan, on medium heat, until transperent.
Add bean.
Mix in all the spices and the tomato sauce.
Add broth (or water).
Let simmer on medium heat for about 20 minutes. Stir occasionally.
Taste and fix spicing if needed.
- Can add corn niblets, frozen or canned (drained).
- Can keep warm a little longer on low heat. Stir occasionally so as not to burn the bottom.
- Best served with white rice.
