Simple mix with a lot of uses.
Equipment
- Large frying pan
Ingredients
- 900 gr Mushrooms (Champinion)
- 1 Onion
- 2 cloves Garlic
- Black pepper
- Salt
Instructions
- Chop the musrooms and set a side.
- Chop the onion and fry in a pan, on medium heat, until transperant.
- Finely minch the garlic and stir into the pan.
- Add chopped mushrooms and cook slowly, occasionally stirring.
- When the mushrooms lose some of their volume, add the spices.
- Keep cooking and stirring on medium-low heat, until most of the liquid evaporets.
Notes
Can be used by itself, as a topping for rice, or as a filling for baked pockets, using different types of dough.
Fresh mushrooms lose much of their volume when cooked, so make sure to use a large amount, to begin with.
